Adjustable Wire Stripping Pliers

Wire stripping pliers are intended to remove a section of insulation from compatible wire during preparation. The reviewed photographs show a two-jaw mechanism, an adjustable stop and separate cutting or terminal areas on the handle assembly. That format serves a different task from checking cable continuity with a tester.

Fit checks: wire stripping pliers

The most important visible detail is the warning on the body: the tool is not insulated. It is not equipment for working on live circuits. This selection is for suitable disconnected wire, and it does not provide electrical qualifications, protective equipment or instructions for household wiring.

Match the tool to the wire before ordering. The catalog labels a 22–10 AWG range alongside metric figures, but range labels alone do not establish performance with every insulation material or conductor construction. Confirm whether the seller supports your exact solid or stranded wire and follow the tool instructions.

An adjustable stop can help set a repeatable strip length, but it does not prove that the conductor will remain undamaged. Inspect a suitable test piece and use the connector manufacturer’s preparation requirements. The presence of a crimping area is not evidence that it produces an approved crimp for every terminal.

This is a catalog-based selection, not a test of stripping accuracy, cutter durability or electrical safety certification. The main image shows the tool from two sides; confirm the selected quantity rather than assuming two tools are included. Check the exact option and retailer delivery terms before ordering.
